Information processed by the app

VÖRDNET may store on your device the information you configure, including monitor names, URLs, domains, IP addresses, hosts, TCP ports, recent check results, monitor status, privacy and app settings, and snapshots used by widgets.

This information is used only to show monitor status, update widgets, retain recent results, and issue local alerts when a monitor status changes.

Data storage

VÖRDNET stores this information locally on your device and, when needed by widgets, in the app’s shared container. VÖRDNET does not require a user account.

Network checks and external services

To perform checks you request, VÖRDNET connects to the URLs, domains, hosts, ports, or services you configure. These connections are necessary to check availability, latency, DNS, TLS, public IP, or captive portals.

As with any network connection, the service being checked may receive the connection IP address and the technical request required to perform the check. If you use a public-IP feature, that service may receive your IP address. VÖRDNET does not use this information for advertising or sell it.

Notifications

VÖRDNET may request permission to send local notifications when a monitor status changes. You can manage this permission in iOS Settings.

Widgets

Widgets display the latest result saved by the app. They do not run checks themselves.

Personal data, advertising, and tracking

VÖRDNET does not sell personal data or use user-configured information for advertising or tracking across apps or websites. The current version does not require a user account.

In-app purchases

If VÖRDNET adds paid features or a Pro version in the future, Apple will process purchases. VÖRDNET does not receive or store payment card information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if VÖRDNET adds features or changes its data handling. The update date will change when that happens.
