VÖRDNET is designed to help you check the status of services and networks from your iPhone without creating an account or using your data for advertising or tracking.
Information processed by the app
VÖRDNET may store on your device the information you configure: monitor names, URLs, domains, IP addresses, hosts, TCP ports, recent results, monitor status, privacy and configuration preferences, and snapshots used by widgets.
This data is used only to display monitor status, update widgets, save recent results, and send local alerts when a monitor’s status changes.
Data storage
VÖRDNET stores this data locally on your device and, when required for widgets, in the app’s shared container. VÖRDNET does not require a user account.
Network requests and external services
To perform the checks you request, VÖRDNET connects to the URLs, domains, hosts, ports, or services you configure. These connections are necessary to check availability, latency, DNS, TLS, public IP, or captive portals.
As a normal part of any network connection, the service being checked may receive the connection’s IP address and the technical request required for the check. If you use a public IP feature, the service may learn your IP address. VÖRDNET does not use this information for advertising or sell it.
Notifications
VÖRDNET may request permission to send local notifications when a monitor’s status changes. You can enable or disable this permission in iOS Settings.
Widgets
Widgets display the latest result saved by the app. They do not run checks by themselves.
Personal data, advertising, and tracking
VÖRDNET does not sell personal data or use user-configured information for advertising or tracking across apps or websites. The current version does not require a user account.
In-app purchases
If VÖRDNET adds paid features or a Pro version in the future, purchases will be processed by Apple. VÖRDNET does not receive or store credit card information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if VÖRDNET adds new features or changes how data is handled. The update date will change when this occurs.
